Join the TGI Sport Team:

TGI Sport is a tech-led global sports media company that is trusted by the world’s premium sporting organisations since 1997. With over 15 offices and 440 employees worldwide, we support over 5,000 events through pioneering technology solutions, global media rights expertise and leading sports marketing knowledge.

Our TGI Merchandise team are experts in engaging fans through product, who work together to create a seamless consumer journey that delivers benchmark outcomes for both fans and our partners.

The Opportunity:

Our Merchandise business is looking for an Account Executive – Customer Service to join our Operations team in Melbourne. Reporting into the Head of Operations, this role brings a sale to life: once an order is secured, you’re the person making sure it is delivered accurately, on time, and with the kind of service that keeps clubs, agents, leagues and commercial partners coming back.

Working alongside our Sales, Production and Product teams, you’ll support the end-to-end order process by tracking progress, resolving issues before they become problems, and keeping customers informed at every stage. It’s a role with genuine ownership and visibility across the business, well suited to someone who takes pride in getting the detail right and enjoys building real relationships with the accounts they look after.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinate delivery expectations with customers and key clients across our Community Clubs portfolio
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for post-order queries, providing clear and timely updates throughout the order lifecycle
  • Maintain frequent, proactive communication with your accounts so orders stay on track, issues are addressed early and service levels are met
  • Support the Sales team with the onboarding of new clubs and clients – setting them up on the relevant platforms and portals, and guiding them through ordering processes, timelines and key points of contact
  • Assist the Sales team in driving sales across a smaller portfolio of accounts assigned to you
  • Use our internal systems to retrieve order, stock and account information, and maintain accurate records that support reporting, visibility and operational efficiency
  • Build strong knowledge of our merchandise range, and identify process gaps or recurring issues where we can improve service delivery

What we’re looking for

This is an entry level role within our business with the ability to grow and develop your skills. While the below criteria are preferred, we are ultimately looking for someone who is passionate about sport, keen to learn and wants to build a career in the Merchandise space.

  • Sales and account servicing experience, ideally with business-to-business exposure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across email, phone and video, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, keeping multiple orders and deadlines moving at once
  • The ability to work autonomously, monitor your own deliverables and see work through to completion
  • A personable, solutions-focused approach and a genuine enjoyment of collaboration
  • An initiative-taker who is keen to learn, comfortable challenging ideas and open to feedback
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, and a basic working understanding of SharePoint
  • A basic understanding of the commercial sports landscape in Australia

The TGI Sport Advantage:

TGI Sport is uniquely positioned to bring together technology, creativity, expertise, and talent to deliver solutions that set us apart on the global stage. This creates unparalleled opportunities – not just for our partners, but for our people as well.

Why you’ll love working here:

  • Access to a range of corporate discounts
  • Supportive, fun and growth focussed culture
  • Regular social events to keep you connected to the wider organisation
  • Your birthday off (or a lay off in lieu)
  • Membership to LinkedIn learning
  • 1 day from working from home after your probation period

TGI Sport is an equal opportunity employer, all applicants will be considered regardless of your race, sexuality, religion, colour, gender identity or parental status. We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
