We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on job that keeps you on your toes!

 

Location: Based from Tong Garden Centre

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week

Contract: Temporary, until the end of June 2026

Hourly rate: £12.71 for those above the age of 21, paid monthly on or before the 5th of each month

Start Date: As soon as possible! We’re also open to accommodate any notice periods.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the warehouse team with picking and packing
  • Helping organise stock ready for movement to other sites, shop floor, or delivery to customers
  • Delivering customer orders using our company van (Only if above the age of 25 for insurance purposes)
  • Ensuring the van is well-maintained, clean, and always ready for use.
  • Checking and recording deliveries accurately, ensuring everything is in the right place, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Assisting with a variety of warehouse duties and keeping the warehouse running smoothly

 

What We’re Looking For:

•Previous warehouse experience (bonus if you’ve been a Van Driver before!)

•A positive attitude and strong communication skills.

•A commitment to keeping our warehouse and deliveries running smoothly.

•Ability to handle stock and deliveries with care and precision.

•A clean driving record and the ability to drive a company van (desirable but not essential)

•A valid Forklift license (desirable but not essential)
