Seasonal Joinery Assistant- Tong & Otley Garden Centre- Expression of Interest

Are you a reliable, hands-on worker who’s ready to get stuck into joinery and site work? If so, we want you!

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Joinery Assistant to join our friendly team on a seasonal basis. You’ll support our skilled joiners across multiple sites, helping deliver high-quality work and keeping projects running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting an 8 week project at Otley Garden Centre
• Assisting joiners with a variety of tasks including erecting walls, frameworks, and partitions
• Supporting the installation and hanging of doors
• Carrying out general labouring duties such as moving materials, site preparation, and keeping work areas clean and safe
• Helping with basic maintenance, repairs, and joinery-related tasks
• Using systems such as Work Wallet to view and track jobs where required
• Supporting the Joinery & Maintenance team on projects at Tong Garden Centre & Otley Garden Centre

Who we’re looking for:

• Multi-trade experience across joinery, labouring and construction
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Good level of physical fitness to move and carry materials.
• Full, clean driving licence preferred
