⏰ 37.25 hours per week on average

📆Shift Pattern:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Wednesdays off)

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (Fri, Sat, Sun off)

Do you love plants, enjoy working outdoors, and take pride in creating a beautiful, welcoming space? We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Plants Assistant to join our friendly team at Bingley Garden Centre!

🌱 What you’ll be doing:

• Keeping our outdoor plant area fully stocked, tidy, and visually appealing
• Caring for plants by watering, feeding, and maintaining their health
• Supporting with general outdoor upkeep, gardening, and landscaping tasks
• Delivering excellent customer service by answering queries and helping customers find what they need
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment, free from hazards
• Supporting other departments when required

🌼 What we’re looking for:

• A passion for plants and the outdoors
• Has previous retail experience
• In-depth plant knowledge and/or plant-related qualifications
• Has the ability to heavy-lift stock (e.g. compost bags)
• A proactive, can-do attitude
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Customer-focused approach with a friendly manner
• Willingness to get stuck in and help wherever needed
