🍔🌱 Kitchen Lead – Grass Hoppers at Otley 🌱🍔

Grass Hoppers at Otley Garden Centre is growing, and we’re looking for a Kitchen Lead to join the team.

👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 So, what’s the job?

As our Kitchen Lead, you’ll be the go-to person in the kitchen, helping to keep service running smoothly, supporting the team and making sure every dish leaving the kitchen is something to be proud of.

Working closely with the Grass Hoppers Manager, you’ll lead from the front, set high standards and help create a positive, energetic kitchen environment where both colleagues and customers have a great experience.

You’ll be working Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and alternate weekends.

Weekday hours will be 8:45am to 2:15pm during term time and 8:30am to 4:00pm during school holidays. Weekend hours will be 8:30am to 4:00pm throughout the year.

• Experience in a kitchen leadership or senior team role
• A solid understanding of food safety and kitchen standards
• A natural people-person who enjoys leading and developing others
• Someone calm under pressure who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability across peak and off-peak shifts, including some weekends
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and team-focused approach
