Christmas is one of the most exciting times of the year at Tong Garden Centre, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and people-focused Grotto Supervisor to help bring the magic to life.

From excited children meeting Santa for the very first time to families creating treasured festive memories, our Grotto is at the heart of the Christmas experience. We’re looking for someone who can support our Grotto Manager, lead by example, and help ensure every guest enjoys a truly magical visit.

If you’re a confident team player who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment, and loves delivering exceptional customer experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

🎄 What You’ll Be Doing

✨ Supporting the day-to-day operation of the Christmas Grotto

🧝 Supervising and motivating our team of Elves and seasonal team members

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Helping deliver an outstanding experience for every guest and their family

📋 Completing daily operational and health & safety checks

⏰ Managing visitor flow and ensuring sessions run smoothly and on time

😊 Handling guest queries and resolving issues in a professional and friendly manner

☕ Coordinating team breaks and providing day-to-day support to colleagues

🎅 Acting as the key point of contact and leading the team in the Grotto Manager’s absence

🤝 Working closely with colleagues across the Garden Centre to ensure a seamless festive experience

🌟 Helping maintain the magical atmosphere that makes Christmas at Tong so special

✨ We’re Looking For Someone Who

🎄 Has previous supervisory, team leader or customer service experience

🎄 Enjoys supporting and motivating others

🎄 Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks

🎄 Remains calm and positive in a busy environment

🎄 Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills

🎄 Loves creating memorable experiences for guests

🎄 Brings plenty of energy, enthusiasm and festive spirit!
