We’re getting ready to open Grass Hoppers Otley, a vibrant, family-focused destination full of energy — and we’re building a fantastic kitchen team to support it.

We’re looking for both Kitchen Assistants and Kitchen Porters to help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

If you enjoy staying busy, working as part of a team, and playing a key role in delivering great experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

🎯 About the Role

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting our kitchen operation. Depending on the shift, you’ll help with food prep, service, or keeping the kitchen running efficiently behind the scenes.

Your day-to-day could include:

✅ Preparing and serving food to a high standard ✅ Supporting the kitchen team during busy service ✅ Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and safe ✅ Following food hygiene and safety procedures (full training provided)

Kitchen Porter responsibilities:

✅ Managing the pot wash area efficiently ✅ Washing and clearing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment ✅ Checking in deliveries and putting stock away correctly ✅ Supporting the kitchen team with basic food prep when needed

📅 Hours & Contracts

We offer flexible contracts aligned to our busy periods:

• Off-peak hours: Term time
• Peak hours: School holidays & weekends

👉 Your hours will flex across the year, offering variety and flexibility.
