IT Operations & Business Technology Lead

Role Overview

We need someone to own how technology works across the business — from fixing day-to-day issues to helping us use AI, automation, and systems properly as we scale.

What You Will Do

·Own IT support across the business — devices, access, software, and anything stopping people doing their job

·Manage user accounts, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding (Microsoft 365, logins, kit, access)

·Keep our core tools running smoothly (Outlook, Teams,SaaS platforms) and fix issues quickly when they don’t

·Take control of systems like JIRA and Monday — set them up properly, improve workflows, and help teams use them well

·Spot where things are clunky or manual and improve them using better systems or automation

·Explore how we can use AI in the business — test tools, trial ideas, and roll out what actually works

·Keep things organised — documentation, processes, and making sure we’re not relying on “only one person knows how this works”

What You Bring

·Solid experience in IT support or IT operations (you’ve done this before and can handle it without hand-holding)

·Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (accounts, access, troubleshooting, day-to-day admin)

·Comfortable fixing a mix of hardware, software, and SaaS issues without making it a drama

·Experience with tools like JIRA & Monday, (and you’re confident you can run with them quickly)

·A mindset for improving how things work — not just fixing problems, but stopping them happening again

·Curiosity around AI and automation — you don’t need to be an expert, but you’re interested and willing to figure it out

·Line management experience – you don’t have a huge team, but the way things are going, that will change!

·£45,000 – £60,000 salary depending on experience
