Cleaning Operative – Primary School, Streetly

Streetly, B74 3PH | £12.71 per hour | 13 hours 20 minutes per week | Term Time

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at a friendly primary school in Streetly.

This is a straightforward, hands-on role that’s ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being active. There’s no desk, no emails and nothing to take home at the end of the day — simply complete your shift, leave the site clean and tidy, and switch off.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• 3:45pm – 6:25pm
• Term time
• 13 hours 20 minutes per week
• Additional deep cleaning may be required during school holidays

The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the school, including:

• Completing daily cleaning tasks across the school
• Cleaning classrooms, communal areas and facilities
• Following the school’s cleaning schedule and procedures
• Ensuring areas are left clean, safe and ready for the following day
• Reporting any issues or maintenance concerns to management
• Working safely and following COSHH and company procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Able to travel to Streetly, B74 3PH
• Previous cleaning experience preferred, but not essential
• Knowledge of COSHH preferred, but not essential
• Able to provide at least one previous employment reference
• An Enhanced DBS check is required — we will arrange this for you
