About the Role

A rewarding role supporting an adult woman living independently in an accessible home in Winchester with 24-hour support from a dedicated team. She has complex and fluctuating health needs that can affect her mobility and may require the use of a wheelchair or walking aids at times, as well as assistance during occasional seizures. She is able to communicate her needs clearly and values support that promotes her independence, including gentle prompting with daily tasks such as medication or household activities. • Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting hobbies and interests (e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, music, gaming, dancing)
  • Working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex care needs
  • Using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques
  • Working in environments where pets (including dogs) may be present
