🏢 About Searchland & Buildscout

Searchland is the UK’s leading B2B prop-tech platform, transforming how businesses and individuals access and leverage property and land data. We help developers, investors, and agents move faster and smarter in a complex market.

Buildscout is our sister brand, revolutionising lead generation for the UK construction industry. Using real-time planning application data, we help contractors, developers, and tradespeople secure high-quality, location-specific jobs before the competition and with minimal hassle.

This role sits within the Searchland Marketing team and supports activity across both Searchland and Buildscout brands, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing.

💻 About the Role

We’re looking for a curious and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our small but growing marketing team. This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day marketing activity across Searchland and Buildscout –  from creating social content and writing copy to helping plan events and track campaign performance.

You don’t need to know everything –  we’re looking for someone eager to learn, willing to roll their sleeves up, and genuinely excited by the world of prop-tech and SaaS. We’ll invest in your growth as you build your skills and confidence across both brands.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of on-brand content for social media, email newsletters, blog posts and the website
  • Help maintain the content calendar, keeping it aligned with campaigns, product updates and key moments
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, paid and organic channels
  • Support lead capture processes and ensure enquiries are accurately logged in HubSpot
  • Help coordinate webinars, Q&A events, trade shows and exhibitions — including logistics, materials and follow-up comms
  • Assist with basic design tasks using tools like Canva to produce social graphics, banners and promotional assets
  • Pull together campaign performance reports tracking reach, click-through rates and leads generated
  • Conduct basic competitor and market research to support campaign planning
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product and Customer Success teams to keep marketing materials current and accurate

🎯 Experience

Essential

While we’re open to hearing from recent graduates and those early in their marketing careers, there are a few things we need:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Some prior marketing experience – internship, placement or at least 2 years in a junior role
  • Strong written communication skills with a sharp eye for detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • A genuine interest in marketing, digital channels and the prop-tech / SaaS world

Desired

  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Canva  or Google Analytics
  • Confident using Claude AI and utilising AI workflows
  • Experience creating content for social media, email and using website CMS (Webflow)
  • Previous exposure to B2B marketing, events or the property / construction sector
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business or a related field
