👩💻 About the Role
We’re looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of Buildscout customers. Sitting adjacent to Customer Success, this role is focused on driving revenue outcomes across existing accounts – including renewals, upgrades, and expansion opportunities.
You will act as the commercial lead for your accounts, ensuring customers clearly understand the value of Buildscout and translating strong product usage into long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
This role works closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Marketing to align customer outcomes with commercial success.
📌 What You’ll Do
- Own a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as the primary commercial point of contact
- Drive subscription renewals end-to-end, proactively managing timelines and mitigating churn risk
- Identify and execute upsell and expansion opportunities based on customer usage, maturity, and needs
- Lead value-based commercial conversations including pricing, packaging, and contract negotiations
- Partner closely with Customer Success to ensure strong product adoption that supports retention and growth
- Translate customer goals into clear commercial value propositions
- Maintain accurate forecasting for renewals, upgrades, and revenue across your portfolio
- Ensure operational excellence across contracts, billing, and CRM management
- Gather structured customer feedback and collaborate with Product and Marketing to inform improvements
🎯 What We’re Looking For
Essential
- 3 + years experience in Account Management or a commercially focused Customer Success role
- Proven track record of managing renewals and growing existing accounts
- Strong commercial acumen with confidence in pricing and negotiation conversations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and pipeline management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in SaaS, PropTech, or construction-related industries
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot
- Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment

- Introductory chat – (30 mins) with our HR team.
- Interview – (30 – 45 mins) with the Buildscout senior team
- Final interview with Buildscout Commercial Director and Searchland CEO
