Wills & Estate Planning • Field-based • Roles across the UK
Half the country still doesn’t have a Will. Even fewer have a Power of Attorney in place for the moments they’ll need it most. Two of the most important documents anyone will ever put in place, yet most people still don’t have them. Not because they don’t care — but because no one ever explained why it matters, and because people rarely wake up thinking “today’s the day I sort my Will.” So, it sits at the bottom of the pile… until it’s too late!
That’s where you come in. Cut through the myths, make it simple, and give people the confidence to act now… not “one day.” It matters. And yes, it’s sales: if we don’t help people take that step, thousands of families are left unprotected.
As a Field Sales Advisor, you’ll meet people in their own homes, where they feel most comfortable. You’ll listen first, understand what matters to them, and help them make the right decisions for the people they love. Because so many people simply keep putting it off, a big part of the role is educating and supporting them to take that step. So, we’re looking for people who can build trust quickly, explain things simply, and guide a conversation to a confident decision. Always honestly, never pushy.
The Essentials
Where: Field-based, out on the road most days. We have roles across the UK and are currently recruiting for East Midlands, West Midlands, Northwest England and Oxfordshire. You’ll visit clients in their homes, within an average 50-mile radius.
Earnings: On-target earnings of £30,000–£40,000 depending on performance, rising to £50,000+ for strong self-generators — and genuinely uncapped. You’ll start on a salary of £24,800, with a higher basic available for the right experience, plus performance-based commission on top. The more families you help (happily and compliantly), and the more work you bring in yourself, the more you earn.
Your diary: Self-managed — you plan your own appointments around your clients, working with our central team, including some Saturday working.
Hours: Full-time or part-time considered. You’ll need to commit full-time to the initial 6-week training programme; after that, we can look at flexible arrangements around your clients.
Must-have: A full UK driving licence and your own car — you’ll be travelling every day.
Training: A comprehensive 6-week training programme, endorsed by CILEX (the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives). More below.
Start Dates: 17/08/2026 — induction, followed by the training academy’s Specialist Training in Wills, Trusts and Estates.
Why this role matters
This isn’t sales for the sake of it. We’re a regulated law firm, and everything we do comes back to one belief: Keeping Families Together. When someone’s wishes are clear and properly protected, families are spared confusion and conflict later on. You’re the person who makes that happen — by making the law feel human, approachable and easy to act on.
So sales matters, but how we do it matters just as much. Every client’s work is supervised by our qualified team and handled in line with our supervision policy, so people receive proper legal advice and everything is done right. Doing right by the client always comes first.
What you’ll be doing
• Home visits: Meeting clients in their own homes, across your territory, most days of the week.
• Fact-finding: Listening first, then asking the right questions to understand what each client really needs to protect.
• Advising: Explaining Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Estate Planning simply and clearly, with confidence and care.
• Guiding: Helping clients reach a decision they feel good about — and securing the business, ethically.
• Following through: Handling the follow-up so every client’s documents are completed correctly (some desk time, mostly time on the road).
• Managing your week: Planning your appointments well and flexing your week around your clients to meet your targets.
• Representing the brand: Being a trusted, professional face of Right Legal — you’ll be central to building our reputation as the name families trust for lifetime planning.
You’ll thrive here if you’re…
• Warm and genuine — people naturally open up to you.
• A clear communicator — you explain things simply and speak with quiet confidence.
• Motivated by targets — you like knowing where you stand and being rewarded for what you achieve.
• Self-motivated and resilient — you keep going through the quieter days and don’t let a knock-back throw off your week.
• Commercially minded — you understand that results are what keep families protected and the business growing.
• Ethical — you want to hit your numbers and be proud of exactly how you did it.
No legal background needed. If you’ve done well in sales, estate agency, hospitality, events, retail or any people-first role, we’ll teach you the law — you bring the people skills and the drive.
You may also see this kind of role advertised as an Estate Planning Consultant, Will Writer or Field Sales Executive. The difference here: you’re employed and salaried, with full training and genuine support behind you within a regulated environment.
Training and development
From day one you’ll join our comprehensive training programme, led by experienced solicitors and legal professionals. It’s built around real client scenarios, not classroom theory, and it’s designed to make you a confident, capable advisor quickly. Beyond the programme, you’ll have 12 weeks of one-to-one mentoring and coaching to embed what you’ve learned.
