Location: Hybrid based, remote with travel to client offices around 3 times per week/ as necessary.
Vacancy Type: Permanent, part-time
Working pattern: 20 hours Monday to Friday
We’re looking for an experienced Event Coordinator (Part-Time) to own the planning and delivery of SumUp’s event presence across Europe.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organisation, detail and delivery, someone who loves taking an idea and turning it into a seamless, on‑brand experience. From large‑scale events and trade shows to tactical marketing projects, you’ll be the person making sure everything runs smoothly, on time and on brand.
Please note the successful candidate must speak either Italian or French alongside English
🌟 What You’ll Be Doing
End to End Event Delivery
- Plan, coordinate and deliver events across European markets including trade shows, conferences and customer experiences.
- Own the full project lifecycle, from briefing and planning through to execution and post event reporting. Including sourcing suppliers, negotiating the best cost and building relationships across various stakeholders
- Manage timelines, budgets, approvals, logistics and delivery plans with confidence and precision.
- Project managing events, various occasions such as Christmas gifts for stakeholders – including supplier sourcing and costing
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Work closely with internal teams, senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Source, manage and coordinate suppliers, ensuring quality, cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Keep everyone aligned with clear communication, updates and expectations.
Brand & Experience Execution
- Ensure all event elements follow brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Oversee production of stands, materials, merchandise and promotional assets.
- Adapt plans in real time to solve problems and keep delivery on track.
Reporting, Insights & Improvement
- Track performance, budgets and KPIs across events.
- Post‑event reporting will include:
- What was delivered vs planned
- Performance against targets (e.g. footfall, leads, sales, engagement)
- Budget vs actuals
- Recommendations for improvement
- Identify improvements to processes, logistics and execution for future activity.
Additional Projects
- Support seasonal and tactical marketing activity such as Christmas gifting, merchandise development, team events and content localisation across markets.
🧠 What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience delivering projects end to end, such as events, activations, marketing rollouts or physical product delivery, including supplier coordination, timelines, budgets and post project reporting.
- This is a delivery focused role. You’ll need to be confident picking up projects and running with them.
- Strong project management skills with excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence managing multiple stakeholders, suppliers and deadlines at once.
- A strong eye for brand, quality and experience.
- Commercial awareness, including budget tracking and cost control.
- A calm, solutions focused mindset, especially when plans change.
- Clear, professional communication and a collaborative approach
