Summary:

The Pre Production Grading Operative plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that materials are accurately graded and prepared for production. This entry-level position is essential for maintaining quality standards and efficiency within the production line, contributing to the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the grading of materials according to specified standards and requirements.
• Ensure that all materials are prepared and ready for production in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with materials to the supervisor.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Basic education, such as GCSEs or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes

Shift pattern is Monday – Thursday 15:00 – 01:30

40 Hours per week

There can be seasonal amendments to the rota during peak times of the year IE Easter/Christmas

Full training will be given. Starting at £12.71 hourly rate increasing to £13.09 hourly rate following successful completion of probation period.

Overtime (over 40 hours) is paid at 1.25
