Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Fork Lift Truck Operator/Box Repair Technician to join our manufacturing team in Haverfordwest, Wales. This permanent, full-time role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of our production line and the maintenance of packaging materials. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing processes and contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

Operate fork lift trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials within the production facility.
Assist in the repair and maintenance of boxes and packaging materials to ensure quality standards are met.
Conduct regular inspections of fork lift trucks and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely repair of transit boxes.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while operating machinery.
Adheres to Food Safety Standards and Product Quality Regulations at all times. Maintain accurate records of materials handled and repairs conducted.

Qualifications:

No formal education required; however, GCSEs in Maths and English are advantageous.
Entry-level experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
Valid fork lift truck licence is essential.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Basic mechanical skills for box repair tasks.
