Marketing and Events Assistant

8 Wigmore Street | 37.5 hours per week

Phoenix Hospital Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing and events assistant to join the marketing team based in London.

This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the delivery of the Phoenix Hospital Group’s sales and marketing strategy. The successful candidate will play an important part in creating engaging marketing content, supporting digital communications and organising and delivering both primary care educational sessions and patient-focused events.

Key Responsibilities

As our Marketing & Events Assistant, you will:

  • Work alongside Business Development Managers across the group to support the delivery of the sales and marketing strategy.
  • Create and coordinate social media content across multiple hospital sites to promote hospital services.
  • Edit and update website content, including consultant profiles, events, pricing, services and treatment information.
  • Write engaging content for treatment pages, blogs and other online communications.
  • Liaise with Consultants and hospital teams to gather content for newsletters, articles, blog posts and presentations.
  • Support the creation of newsletters, posters, leaflets and other marketing collateral.
  • Organise, promote and support the delivery of primary care and patient-focused events, including occasional evening and Saturday events.
  • Engage with local GPs and coordinate communications regarding hospital services, updates and events.
  • Update presentations and content displayed on reception TV screens.
  • Produce ad hoc signage and marketing materials as required.
  • Provide administrative support for health professional and patient events.
  • Collate content for social media and online campaigns.
  • Coordinate the ordering of merchandise and marketing materials.
  • Collate email data from patient booking forms where permission has been granted.
  • Undertake data gathering and research to support marketing activity.
  • Provide general marketing administration support as required.

About You

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • A Level qualification or proven marketing experience – essential.
  • Previous experience writing marketing copy – essential.
  • Experience editing video content – desirable but not essential.
  • Previous event management experience – desirable but not essential.
  • The ability to manage and deliver several projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with confidence to use your own initiative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work confidently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The confidence and ability to influence senior team members and Consultants to support the delivery of the marketing plan.
