Summary:

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioner plays a crucial role in promoting mental health and wellbeing within the community of Edinburgh. This temporary full-time position involves providing support and guidance to individuals facing mental health challenges, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and resources. The practitioner will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance the overall wellbeing of clients, contributing to a healthier and more resilient community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients.
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans to address individual needs.
  • Provide one-on-one counselling and support sessions to clients.
  • Facilitate group workshops and activities focused on mental health awareness and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community organisations to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients, adjusting support plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.

Qualifications:
