Exciting opportunities await at Pembrokeshire Creamery! We’re expanding and looking for a passionate individual to join our team as a Production Operative.

We are looking for a number of Production Operatives to come and join the Pembrokeshire Creamery Ltd (PCL) team where you will be based at our state-of- the art bottling factory in Haverfordwest working as part of a close team all striving towards the same ambition.

As a Production Operative you will be a key player in the production process, responsible for operating our end of line automated trolley packers and working in collaboration with our Production and Despatch Teams to ensure a smooth flow of finished goods within our chilled store . Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the success of our production operations.

You’ll be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with the team to deliver great results. You’ll have an enthusiastic approach and be a team player with the ability to follow instructions.

You’ll Be Responsible For

· Operating our state of the art end of line trolley packers, ensuring you adopt a clean as you go approach when on shift to help prevent product jams

· Monitor and adjust equipment settings to maintain product quality and efficiency

· Conduct regular quality checks to ensure proper seals, labelling and product integrity

· Troubleshoot and address minor equipment issues to minimise downtime

· Collaborate with the production and despatch teams to meet production goals and timelines

· Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the filling area as per GMP standards set by the onsite technical department

· Assist in routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition

Please note this role will operate on a rotational shift basis.

What you’ll bring to the role

· Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or bottling environment is preferred

· Ability to operate and troubleshoot filling equipment

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control

· Basic mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to challenging priorities

. Previous experience working within a dairy is advantageous

· Knowledge of safety regulations in manufacturing
