Established in 2011, Newcastle Physiotherapy operates modern, purpose-built clinics in Gosforth and Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne. We are a private practice dedicated to delivering exceptional physiotherapy care, with a strong reputation for clinical excellence, personalised treatment, and outstanding patient outcomes.

Our team specialises in manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and evidence-based practice, supporting a diverse client base ranging from recreational athletes and active individuals through to elite performers and older adults. Our goal is to provide every client with the same level of care and attention typically reserved for professional athletes.

Senior Physiotherapist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team in a full-time, on-site role based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnoses
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment and rehabilitation programmes
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Support clients in achieving their recovery, health, and performance goals
  • Mentor junior clinicians and contribute to ongoing staff development
  • Help maintain the clinic’s reputation for exceptional customer service and clinical outcomes

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
  • Current HCPC and CSP registration (or equivalent professional registration)
  • Strong clinical skills in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, including assessment, manual therapy, and exercise prescription
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development
  • Ability to manage a private caseload efficiently and maintain accurate clinical records
  • High standards of professionalism, integrity, and patient confidentiality
  • Experience working with athletic or high-performance populations, or a strong interest in sports rehabilitation
  • Flexibility to work clinic hours as required and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment

Please note that this is a contractor role that is commission based.
