Description

Summary:

We’re looking for a commercially minded Corporate Tax Manager who enjoys working directly with business owners and becoming a trusted adviser.

This is not a compliance-only role. It’s about helping clients make better decisions around structure, growth and tax.

You’ll work with innovative SME clients, supporting them with corporate tax planning, structuring and wider advisory work, alongside our R&D, legal and finance teams.

The Role:

  • Lead client conversations and build strong relationships
  • Advise on corporate structures, reorganisations and growth plans
  • Provide clear, practical tax advice to business owners
  • Identify opportunities to support clients across our wider services
  • Work with the wider team to deliver high-quality tax work.

Qualifications:

  • CTA qualified (or equivalent) with relevant CPD.
  • Strong grounding in UK corporate tax
  • Confident speaking directly with clients
  • Able to explain complex ideas in a simple, commercial way
  • Interested in developing into a senior advisory role

Skills:

  • A trusted adviser mindset: commercially aware, confident with clients and able to explain complex matters clearly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Well organised with good attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Collaborative, proactive and opportunistic, with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Comfortable working in a growing practice environment and contributing to team development.
  • Proficient in MS Office skills (Advanced Excel would be desirable).
  • UK driving licence and access to own transport.
  • The right to work in the UK is a requirement for this role.

This is a hybrid role but will include regular travel to our offices in Cranfield near Milton Keynes.
