About Us

Maris Interiors are one of the UK’s leading design and build specialists. With over 47 years of experience, we create inspiring office spaces through design, fit-out, refurbishment and relocation.

The Role

As Junior Interior Designer, you will support the Design Directors and wider design team with the coordination and delivery of workplace design projects. This is a varied and hands-on role combining design support, project coordination, supplier liaison, presentation preparation, and administration.

This is not a lead designer role. It is ideal for someone looking to build experience within a collaborative design-and-build environment while developing knowledge of workplace interiors, project processes, and design delivery.

You will play an important role in helping projects run smoothly, ensuring presentations are polished, information is organised, and project teams are supported throughout the design and build process.

What You’ll Be Doing

🎨 Support Design Directors and project teams across multiple workplace projects

📘 Prepare client presentations, mood boards, and design documentation

🪑 Assist with furniture, finishes, and material sourcing

🤝 Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to support smooth project delivery

📅 Help maintain project timelines, action lists, and project coordination

💻 Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the design team

What We’re Looking For

🎓 Qualification in interior design, spatial design, architecture, or related discipline

🎨 Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office

📐 Familiarity with AutoCAD or InDesign would be beneficial

🧠 Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

🌍 Interest in workplace interiors, commercial design, and the built environment

⚡ Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach

🗣️ Strong communication and presentation skills

🔄 Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

🤝 A team player who enjoys supporting wider project delivery
