Description

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Parts Delivery Driver to join our team in Winsford. This permanent, full-time role is essential for ensuring timely delivery of automotive parts to our customers, including planning efficient routes, ensuring all goods are transported safely, loading and unloading vehicles, completing daily defect records, and processing paperwork, documentation, and payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport automotive parts to various locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts to customers .
  • Load and unload parts, ensuring they are secured and protected during transit.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Ensure all payment transactions are completed accurately, with relevant documentation retained for the administration team;
  • Observe and adhere to relevant Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) requirements in operation at other premises.
  • Complete all tasks deemed to be a reasonable request by any colleague in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.

What you will bring :

  • Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts and their functions is an advantage.
