Employment Type: This is a part-time permanent role, 22.5 hours per week

Salary: £20,412 per annum plus £2,131 London Weighting (if based in London)

This is an exciting position that offers candidates a flexible working arrangement. The role is largely remote.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the role holder will be responsible for the day-to-day Finance function and supporting the Finance Manager in the timely production of the management accounts and other reports.

The main duties of the Finance officer role include:

  • Responsible for producing annual budgets whilst ensuring accuracy and full recovery of costs
  • Playing a critical role in assisting with various month end responsibilities including accruals and prepayments which feed into the monthly reports.
  • Processing the monthly Payroll

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience of a minimum of three years working within a finance department.
  • Understanding of financial controls
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence dealing with various stakeholders and their queries
  • Started or interested in starting their finance related qualification
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
