THE OPPORTUNITY 

We are hiring a Junior Project Manager / IT Project Coordinator to support a more structured, scalable PMO. The role is aimed at someone organised, client-facing and commercially aware, with around 1-2 years experience coordinating IT projects. 

You will help coordinate multiple IT migration and security projects, while being developed into someone who can independently manage delivery quality, client communication and project administration. 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE  

  • Coordinate multiple client projects across different stages of the lifecycle. 
  • Liaise with clients to schedule project work, meetings and updates. 
  • Support the senior PM with onboarding new clients and organising projects. 
  • Maintain accurate project records, actions, timelines and status updates in Notion. 
  • Help track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and changes. 
  • Escalate blockers, scope concerns or client issues promptly. 
  • Support delivery governance across fixed-budget projects and Agile-style workflows. 
  • Help prepare project updates, meeting notes and client communications. 
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout delivery. 
  • Identify repeated manual admin and suggest opportunities for automation or process improvement. 
  • Work with technical teams to keep project execution practical, clear and well sequenced. 

 

ABOUT YOU  

You have a good background in delivering projects including experience in Office 365. You have an awareness of Agile ways of working, and willingness to obtain a credential (we’ll fund it). Excellent written communication including user facing guides.  

 

DEVELOPMENT EXPECTATIONS 

The junior PM should be managed and mentored by the senior PM, with a clear path from coordination into broader project ownership. 

 

Over time, you should develop the ability to: 

  • Own smaller or lower-risk projects independently. 
  • Run structured client communications with minimal supervision. 
  • Maintain project hygiene without prompting. 
  • Understand budget, timeline and scope health. 
  • Support retrospectives and continuous improvement. 
  • Contribute to standardising PMO ways of working across the business. 

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Around 2 years’ experience in a client-facing IT project coordination or junior project management role. 
  • Experience supporting customer deployments, onboarding work or larger project implementations. 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. 
  • Good general IT knowledge, with interest in Microsoft cloud technologies. 
  • Excellent coordination, planning and prioritisation skills. 
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional telephone manner. 
  • Ability to respond to tight deadlines. 
  • Strong organisational discipline and attention to detail. 
  • Commitment to delivering an excellent client experience.
