The Role
inploi is reshaping how the world’s leading employers attract and engage candidates. With a strong value proposition, a robust core product, a client base that has grown +100% p.a. over the last two years and recent funding, we’re now building a strategic partnerships function to expand our global go-to-market capability.
We’ve already validated partnerships as a GTM channel in both the US and UK, delivering shorter sales cycles, lower acquisition costs, warm access to enterprise customers. Importantly, the Partnerships function has lacked dedicated ownership to date.
We’re now hiring a Partnerships Lead to establish and lead this function, reporting directly to the CEO. This is a senior, high-impact role with direct influence over revenue, product expansion, and commercial strategy.
You’ll work closely with leadership across sales, product, marketing, and finance to define our partner strategy. You’ll inherit a live portfolio of proven reseller and referral partners. You’ll have a clear mandate to turn partnerships into a core revenue channel. You will focus on the UK first and then the US.
This is not a role for a big company operator looking to inherit a team and a playbook. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, is excited by execution, and preferably someone who has seen and done it before. If you want to shape how a scaling business goes to market globally, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
Take ownership of inploi’s partner-sourced revenue from day one. You’ll inherit an existing portfolio and be expected to quickly assess what’s working, what isn’t, and where opportunities lie — then build and execute a plan accordingly.
In the near term, that means bringing structure to a channel that has significant untapped potential: prioritising the right partners, relaunching key relationships with clear joint targets, and building the commercial frameworks and enablement infrastructure needed to drive pipeline consistently.
You’ll expand the partner base in the UK and begin laying the groundwork for partner-led US go-to-market.
You’ll own partner revenue as a percentage of total bookings, manage senior relationships with partner executives, collaborate with Product on integration priorities, and build out the team as the channel scales.
Who You Are
- 6–10+ years in partnerships, strategic alliances, or business development in HR tech
- Proven track record building a partnerships function from early stage — not just inheriting one
- Deep HCM ecosystem knowledge: ATS providers, HCM vendors, system integrators, consultancies
- Commercially sharp: you know how to structure reseller, referral, and integration deals that align incentives
- Execution-oriented: you’ve done the outreach, built the decks, run the QBRs, closed the deals — and you’re ready to do it again, faster
- Comfortable with ambiguity: this is a build, not an optimisation
Strong communicator: able to engage C-level partner execs and internal stakeholders with equal credibility
Why This Role Matters
Partnerships is a core strategic pillar for inploi in 2026 and beyond. It is fundamental to how we access enterprise customers faster, cheaper, and with lower risk. It’s how we make our first strides into the US. If you want to be involved at ground zero building something with real commercial impact (and major upside potential), this is it.
What We Offer
- Competitive base + commission on partner-sourced revenue
- Equity options (post-probation)
- Working directly with the CEO and wider leadership team
- 25 days holiday + Christmas closure period + birthday off
- Hybrid flexibility, high-trust culture
- The chance to build a function that will shape how inploi scales globally
