Description

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Wheeled Excavator Operator to join our team. This permanent, full-time position plays a crucial role in our building and construction projects, ensuring that excavation tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of excavation operations, including the use of tilt rotator attachments, to carry out excavation, lifting, and material handling activities on civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

Operate wheeled excavators to perform excavation tasks in various construction projects.
Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Follow site plans and specifications to execute excavation work accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure project timelines are met.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the site supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

Valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) card for wheeled excavator operation.
Proven experience as a wheeled excavator operator in the building and construction industry.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to excavation work.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
