Description

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Wheeled Excavator Operator to join our team. This permanent, full-time position plays a crucial role in our building and construction projects, ensuring that excavation tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of excavation operations, including the use of tilt rotator attachments, to carry out excavation, lifting, and material handling activities on civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate wheeled excavators to perform excavation tasks in various construction projects.
  • Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Follow site plans and specifications to execute excavation work accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the site supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) card for wheeled excavator operation.
  • Proven experience as a wheeled excavator operator in the building and construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to excavation work.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
