Description

Summary:

The ADT Operator plays a crucial role in the Building & Construction industry, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of articulated dump trucks (ADTs) on site. This permanent, full-time position is based on-site across Scotland; it requires a dedicated individual who can contribute to the successful completion of construction projects while adhering to safety regulations and operational standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate articulated dump trucks (ADTs) safely and efficiently on construction sites.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Transport materials and equipment to designated locations on site.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues to the site supervisor.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and project timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for ADT operation.
  • Previous experience operating articulated dump trucks in a construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites across Scotland
