We’re building something exceptional and we’re looking for a driven, detail oriented Management Accountant to join us at this exciting stage of growth.

The Role:

This is a hands on, high impact role at the heart of our finance function. You’ll work closely with the Financial Manager and CFO, supporting core financial operations, regulatory compliance, and ongoing business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Financial Operations

  • Own end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring vendors are paid on time and collections are optimised.
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple currencies
  • Maintain the general ledger, process manual journals, including accruals, prepayments, ensuring the trial balance is accurate.
  • Act as the primary finance partner for the Lifestyle team

Month End Close

  • Lead balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Support monthly management accounts and variance analysis
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline month-end

EMI Compliance & Safeguarding

  • Perform daily safeguarding reconciliations in line with FCA requirements
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of safeguarded funds

Audit, Tax& Projects

  • Support statutory audits and liaise with external auditors
  • Assist on ad-hoc projects with the Financial Controller and CFO

About You:

Essential

  • Newly qualified, recently completed ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must; experience with Xero and automation tools (Dext) is a huge plus
  • You thrive in a fast paced startup environment, are comfortable with ambiguity, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves on basic tasks while keeping an eye on the big picture
  • Able to work from our West End (Oxford Circus) office 3 days per week
  • Previous experience within a fintech, Electronic Money Institution (EMI), or payments institution is desirable but not essential
