Description

Summary:

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative working within the Despatch Department. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, have the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to meet deadlines, be self-motivated, have good communication skills, and be a team player. The role involves supporting the operation of the Despatch department whilst working in alignment with HMG Paints operating procedures and health and safety policies

Hours of work:

  • Hours of work: 38 ¾ hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Monthly profit related bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and check deliveries
  • Store goods safely
  • Pick and pack orders accurately
  • Maintain stock records
  • Prepare dispatch paperwork
  • Operate equipment (if qualified)
  • Follow all health & safety procedures

Skills & Attributes

Essential:

  • Reliable and detail-focused
  • Able to work as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Forklift licence
  • Paint/coatings industry experience
  • Warehouse experience
