Description

HMG are seeking a reliable, motivated Quality Control Analyst to join the Internal Quality Control team. This is a hands-on role testing both raw materials and finished products to specifications as well as involvement in the development, improvement and maintenance of Quality Control Systems.

Key Duties

  •       Undertake QC testing in line with product specifications and test requirements.
  •         Compose, update / maintain & deliver any procedures or associated systems that are required to comply with new and emerging standards that the company chooses to adopt.
  •       Working to instructions and targets
  •        To work in collaboration with the R&D department when working with raw materials or formulation development aimed at improving product reliability.
  • To test specific raw materials, for example resin systems on receipt of goods and record results. Inform the appropriate personnel should an issue be detected.
  • Action multiple projects at the same time to pre-defined requirements, delivery on time and to budgetary constraints.
  •        Assist with preparation for audit processes, both internally and externally when appropriate.
  • Ensure all documentation required to support and operate new and existing QC systems is delivered to the business and service providers at appropriate stages in the project lifecycle Skills & Attributes
  •    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •       English, Maths, Science GCSE Grade 4 or above
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office suite (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint)
  • Have the agility and resilience to overcome obstacles and solve problems.
  • A great attitude and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
  • To work flexibly, if required.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new processes
  • Good attention to detail
