Student Recruitment Sales Lead

Central London, SouthEast WC1, United Kingdom • Full-time

Description

Reporting to: Head of Training Sales & Marketing

Contract Classification: Full Time

Location: Hybrid (London)

About us:

Established in 2015, HA has already grown to be the UK’s largest postgraduate training provider in aesthetic medicine. As providers of exceptional higher education, our main goal is to improve patient safety through our training; raising educational standards for the most widely requested non-surgical cosmetic procedures: injectables and cosmetic dermatology treatments.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a high-performing, commercially driven Student Recruitment Lead to take ownership of a high-volume sales pipeline across both UK and international markets.

This is a senior, hands-on closing role focused on driving revenue through consultations, optimising conversion performance, and contributing to the evolution of our sales strategy.

You will play a key role in managing and converting inbound and reactivation leads, while also acting as a senior point of reference within the team—supporting best practices, improving processes, and contributing to international growth.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead Management & Conversion

  • Manage a high volume of inbound, warm, and reactivation leads across UK and international markets
  • Maintain strong “speed to lead” and consistent follow-up to maximise conversion rates
  • Personally drive revenue through proactive pipeline management and closing activity
  • Attend in-person events where required to support lead generation and conversion

Consultations, Closing & Diary Management

  • Own and manage a full schedule of consultations within a structured and busy diary
  • Deliver high-quality consultations that clearly communicate value and effectively overcome objections
  • Balance lead volume, calls, and follow-ups through strong time management and prioritisation

International Sales Ownership

  • Take responsibility for converting international leads across key markets (US, Canada, UAE, Turkey)
  • Adapt sales approach to suit regional nuances, time zones, and buyer behaviours
  • Contribute directly to international revenue growth through consistent performance

Pipeline Oversight & Performance Awareness

  • Maintain visibility across the wider team pipeline, not just personal performance
  • Identify gaps, risks, or inefficiencies in lead flow, follow-up speed, and conversion rates
  • Support improvements in how leads are prioritised and managed

Sales Process Implementation & Optimisation

  • Apply and uphold defined sales processes in daily activity
  • Identify opportunities to improve messaging, follow-up cadence, and conversion tactics
  • Ensure accurate and consistent use of HubSpot for all sales activity

Coaching & Peer Support

  • Act as a senior point of reference for sales best practices
  • Provide informal coaching and guidance to team members
  • Support onboarding and development of new hires

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign performance
  • Share insights from sales conversations to improve targeting and messaging
  • Collaborate with leadership on international and digital growth opportunities

Market Insight & Continuous Improvement

  • Capture trends in objections, competitor positioning, and student motivations
  • Suggest improvements to strengthen the sales approach and value proposition
  • Contribute to refining Harley Academy’s sales strategy across different markets

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a high-volume, consultative sales or closing role
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience managing a full sales pipeline and high lead volumes
  • Exceptional communication and objection-handling skills
  • Highly organised with strong time management abilities
  • Experience working with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Commercially minded with a proactive, results-driven approach
  • Ability to identify process improvements and optimise performance
  • Experience working across international markets is advantageous
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to support and influence peers
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Performance Metrics:

  • Revenue: £250k – £300k+
  • Lead Volume: 250–350+ leads
  • Focus: Quality + optimisation
  • CRM Usage: Insight-driven pipeline management and forecasting
