Position: Full-Time with a 6-Month Probation Period Hours: Monday to Friday, 35-hour week. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM depending on work appointments. Pay: To be discussed based on experience and skill set. Additional Benefits: Company van may be provided. Opportunity to join company pension scheme.

We are a well-established property maintenance and refurbishment company based in Somerset, specializing in modernizing and renovating rundown properties. We take great pride in our excellent reputation and are looking for a reliable and professional individual to join our property renovations team. This role requires a proactive, “can-do” attitude and the ability to bring value to our small team of tradespeople, ensuring the high-quality finish that we are known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Painting and decorating
• Stain blocking and mould treatment
• Kitchen fitting
• Stud walls and plaster boarding works
• Gardening and landscaping
• Fencing and general maintenance
• Hanging doors and lock repairs/replacements
• Tiling and grouting of wall and floor tiles
• Measuring and fitting curtains and blinds
• Light maintenance such as changing lightbulbs, switches, and plug points
• Furniture and rubbish clearance
• Basic plumbing tasks for bathroom refits
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy

Essential Skills and Attributes:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Full UK driving license
• Strong time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Proactive, forward-thinking with the ability to use initiative
• Professional, positive attitude
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines

Desirable Experience:

• Project management skills (helpful, but not essential)
• Basic plastering skills (not essential)
• Basic plumbing skills (desirable, but not essential)
