Housekeeping and Cleaning Assistant

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping and Cleaning Assistant to join our team in Banham, East Anglia. This temporary, casual role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our leisure and sport facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the overall guest experience through your attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, including restrooms and communal spaces
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is maintained in good condition
• Assist with special cleaning projects as required
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

• No formal education required; however, a basic understanding of cleaning techniques is preferred
• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is an advantage but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
