Pay: From £27,000.00 per year Job Description: Company Overview Fledgelings Day Nursery has recently extended its nursery in South Hornchurch, just off the Rainham Road, and it looking for dedicated practitioners to join their team. Overview A full induction is given and training to support every staff member in their role to deliver the best possible care to our children. Responsibilities Provide attentive care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Implement age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS curriculum. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages learning through play. Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents. Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development. Maintain accurate records of children’s progress. Ensure the nursery adheres to health and safety regulations and all children are safeguarded. Contribute to a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement. Qualifications Level 3 qualification in Early years is essential. Experience working with young children is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
