We are currently looking for caring, reliable and motivated Support Workers to join our team.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will provide practical, emotional and person-centred support to individuals living in their own homes within a supported living setting, helping them develop independence, build confidence, access the community, maintain their wellbeing and achieve their personal goals.
This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, patient, respectful and committed to making a real difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing person-centred support in line with each service user’s care plan, risk assessment and support needs.
- Supporting service users with daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, appointments, personal care where required, and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Supporting service users to access the community, attend activities, build relationships and develop independence.
- Promoting dignity, choice, privacy, independence and inclusion at all times.
- Supporting service users with medication in line with company policy, training and competency.
- Recording daily notes, incidents, observations and any changes in presentation accurately and promptly.
- Following safeguarding procedures and reporting any concerns immediately.
- Working positively with colleagues, families, professionals and the wider management team.
- Supporting positive behaviour approaches, including PBS where applicable.
- Maintaining professional boundaries and upholding Greenbanks Heritage policies, values and standards.
About You:

- Committed to safeguarding, dignity and person-centred care.
- Experience in supported living, mental health, learning disability, autism or social care is desirable, but not always essential. The right attitude, values and willingness to learn are equally important.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care or support work, or a genuine interest in working in health and social care.
- GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths are desirable.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete accurate records and daily notes.
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are desirable.
- Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including long days, waking nights and sleep-ins, is essential.
- Willingness to relocate for work is essential.
- Right to work in the UK.
