Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including food hygiene practices.
• Support the team in managing stock levels and minimising waste.
• Participate in menu planning and development as required.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and assist in training new staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a Commis Chef or similar role.
• Basic culinary qualifications or relevant training in food preparation.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
