ConsultMyApp (CMA) is an international app growth company combining specialist consultancy, proprietary technology, data and AI. We help leading brands acquire, convert, retain and monetise app users across App Store Optimization, Paid User Acquisition, Creative, CRM and Analytics. Clients include Microsoft, Macy’s, Papa Johns, Paramount and bet365.

Job Title: Creative Designer

Location: London, hybrid (two office days per week)

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create exceptional mobile marketing creative
    • Design polished, platform-ready assets for app stores and paid acquisition, including screenshots, CPPs, CSLs, IAEs, promotional content and paid-social creative.
    • Combine product UI, typography, photography, illustration, generated imagery and motion to produce distinctive creative systems.
    • Maintain a high standard across concept, composition, hierarchy, typography, colour and final production.
  2. Turn strategy and data into creative concepts
    • Work closely with CMA’s ASO, Paid Acquisition, Analytics and client teams to understand audiences, search intent, competitive positioning and conversion weaknesses.
    • Translate these inputs into clear creative territories, testable hypotheses and executable designs, explaining why an approach should work – not just why it looks good.
  3. Build creative for experimentation
    • Develop structured creative variants designed to test specific hypotheses across messaging, benefit hierarchy, imagery, social proof, offers and calls to action.
    • Interpret results and apply learnings across channels, formats and markets.
  4. Integrate AI into your creative workflow
    • Use AI tools for image generation, editing, prototyping, storyboarding and versioning to explore ideas more broadly and deliver work more efficiently.
    • Know how to direct, refine and quality-check AI output, and contribute to CMA’s internal AI-enabled creative processes and the APPlyzer Creative Studio roadmap.
  5. Collaborate and communicate
    • Present concepts clearly to clients and internal teams; manage multiple work streams without compromising quality.
    • Adapt creative for global markets, cultures and languages; maintain strong version control and platform compliance.

Requirements:

  • An exceptional portfolio demonstrating outstanding digital and mobile-first design.
  • Strong evidence of original concept development, not only execution against existing templates.
  • Advanced Figma proficiency and strong image-editing and design software skills.
  • Meaningful, hands-on experience using AI tools within real creative workflows.
  • Experience designing performance or conversion-focused creative.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and confidence presenting and explaining creative decisions.
  • Typically four or more years of relevant professional experience, though portfolio quality and creative judgement matter most.

Desirable:

  • App Store or Google Play asset experience, including CPPs, CSLs and IAEs.
  • Paid user-acquisition creative experience for Meta, Google, TikTok or Apple Ads.
  • Motion design, animation or short-form video capability.
  • Understanding of conversion rate, CPI, CPA, ROAS and creative performance analysis.
  • Experience working in an agency or fast-paced multi-client environment.
