Role Summary

As we continue to grow, this newly created role within our Marketing team, will be at the heart of creating meaningful connections between our residents and the places they call home. Through compelling content, engaging organic social media, and impactful communications, you’ll help bring our communities to life, creating experiences that make our residents feel informed, valued, and connected.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how residents engage with our brands, properties, and communities. From launching creative campaigns and promoting resident events, to crafting engaging stories and digital content, you’ll help transform everyday communications into moments that drive participation, loyalty, and community spirit.

Key Responsibilities
Create Communications That Residents Want to Engage With:
- Develop engaging resident communications that inform, inspire, and encourage participation across our portfolio of assets.
- Bring our communities to life through compelling storytelling, resident spotlights, property updates, and lifestyle content.
- Own and manage content calendars, ensuring communications remain fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Champion CompassRock’s overall brand, as well as the individual brand identities and tone of voice for each asset, ensuring every communication reflects our personality, values, and commitment to exceptional resident experiences.
Drive Community Through Content and Social Media:
- Create and manage engaging social media content that sparks conversations, encourages interaction, and strengthens community connections.
- Produce creative content across multiple formats, including copy, imagery, video, and short-form digital content.
- Identify and capture stories happening within our communities, turning resident experiences into engaging marketing content.
- Stay ahead of social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement and reach.
Bring Resident Experiences to Life:
- Partner with the Events Team to build excitement around resident events, activations, and community initiatives.
- Create campaigns that drive attendance, participation, and resident advocacy.
- Work closely with the property teams to uncover local stories, celebrate successes, and showcase community life.
- Help create a sense of belonging across our communities through engaging and meaningful communications.
Deliver Personalised Engagement:
- Own the delivery of targeted and personalised resident communication programmes through HubSpot, using audience segmentation, AI, automation, and customer insights to maximise engagement.
- Build and optimise email campaigns in Hubspot, automated journeys, and engagement initiatives that resonate with different resident groups.
- Understand the unique needs, interests, and motivations of different resident demographics and personas, tailoring communications to maximise relevance and engagement.
Measure, Learn and Improve:
- Monitor campaign performance and resident engagement across social media, email, and communication channels.
- Take ownership of engagement metrics, including email engagement, social interaction, event participation, resident sentiment, and other indicators that contribute to resident retention and community success.
- Use data, insights, and resident feedback to continually improve content and campaign effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to innovate, test new ideas, and enhance the resident experience through communication.
Skills & Experience
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is a native in; marcomms and engagement, organic social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc), and content creation.
- Has a proven ability to create engaging content and tell compelling stories.
- Understands how to build audiences, create engagement, and foster communities through communications.
- Has hands-on experience with CRM and marketing/social automation platforms, particularly HubSpot.
- Has hands-on experience creating visual content using tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Understands the principles of audience segmentation, customer journeys, and how to create communications that resonate with different demographics and personas.
- Appreciates the importance of brand consistency and can confidently work within a defined tone of voice.
- Is comfortable using data and insights to inform decisions and improve campaign performance.
- Is highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Uses AI as a tool for enhancing productivity, not as a replacement.
Nice to Have:
- Experience within Build-to-Rent, residential real-estate, hospitality, property, or other customer-focused sectors.
- Experience promoting events, experiences, or community initiatives.

Qualifications
Working Hours
- 4o hours per week (Mon to Friday). Some flexibility may be required to accommodate candidate interviews across different schedules.
