We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our busy Buying team, based in Wilmslow with one day a week at our Middleton site.

Where does this role fit in?

·Support our Buying team with a range of administration tasks.

·PO management – raising purchase orders on Sage 200 (daily) and placing orders with suppliers.

·Setting up product codes on Sage 200.

·Co-ordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers

·Managing & approving shipment bookings

·Booking goods in with the warehouse

·Requesting LCs with Accounts and emailing over to supplier.

·Co-ordinating invoices and packing lists for approval

·Chasing suppliers on deliveries and keeping relevant departments updated.

·Updating shipping schedule.

·Processing shipping documents.

·Monitoring critical path and creating reports.

·National Account Manager and Merchandisers order book weekly update – updating and highlighting any delays with reasons/appropriate comments.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

·Previous administration experience.

·Strong IT skills especially in Excel.

·Numerate and high levels of concentration to evaluate large amounts of data.

·Excellent organisation skills – you’ll be organized in your approach which will enable you to manage and prioritise a busy workload.

·Experience in Sage 200 desirable.

·Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work to strict deadlines to meet customer requirements

Flexible approach to work as a team player with ability to co-ordinate between functions and to undertake any relevant task efficiently, on own initiative.
