Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Temp Chef De Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at our prestigious Hotel & Spa in Retford, East Midlands. This temporary role offers the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation, ensuring that our guests enjoy a memorable culinary journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the menu and standards set by the Head Chef.
  • Assist in the management of kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and organisation of workstations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of meals.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen, adhering to food hygiene regulations.
  • Support the Head Chef in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
  • Contribute to menu development and suggest improvements based on guest feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within a hospitality environment.
  • Culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
