About the Role

We are recruiting a Sous Chef for a well-established independent restaurant in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. The restaurant serves classic dishes & Mediterranean twists with fresh specials and creative freedom given to all of the kitchen team.

Set within a historic building, the venue is a busy and characterful restaurant and wine bar serving a mix of loyal locals, theatre-goers, and visitors throughout the year.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, professional kitchen focused on fresh, seasonal cooking and consistently high standards.

The Role

You will run your section during service, working with fresh ingredients and supporting the wider kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes in a fast-paced but well-organised environment.

The role also offers involvement in seasonal specials and menu development within a supportive independent business.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous ready to step up
  • Experience in fresh food restaurants, gastropubs, or similar environments
  • Passion for seasonal cooking and quality ingredients
  • Calm, reliable, and professional team player
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
