We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team in a lively town centre pub. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering fresh, high-quality food.

About the Role:

Our kitchen is compact and efficiently run, best suited to a team of two chefs during service. Despite its size, the operation is highly organised and capable of producing up to 300 meals on a busy Sunday. You’ll be working with a structured and supportive team that values preparation, consistency, and teamwork. The kitchen doesn’t really have titles, The Head Chef is in charge and everyone else is the treated the same tier of chef and is welcome to collaborate in future menus and ideas equally.

This is a full-time role condensed into just 3.5 days per week, offering an excellent work–life balance.

Shift Pattern:

  • Full days: 9:00am – 10:00pm
  • Half day: Either 9:00am – 4:00pm or 4:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Total: 45 hours per week

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and cook a range of pub classics and seasonal dishes to a high standard in a fresh food kitchen
  • Deliver quality and consistency during busy service periods
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen in line with food hygiene regulations
  • Support menu development and contribute new ideas
  • Work closely with the team to ensure excellent customer experiences

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a chef in a busy kitchen environment
  • Passion for quality food and presentation
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • A positive attitude and team-focused mindset
  • Ideally UK Driver (public transport can be an issue)
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
