About the Role
We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our professional kitchen team in Hebden Bridge.
Working with fresh, seasonal ingredients, you’ll take ownership of your section and play a key role in delivering high-quality British cuisine. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef who enjoys fresh cooking, takes pride in their work, and wants to develop within a supportive and ambitious team.
You’ll work closely with senior chefs to maintain high standards, contribute ideas, and help create an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Run your designated section during preparation and service
- Prepare and cook dishes to consistently high standards
- Maintain excellent presentation, quality and portion control
- Support and mentor junior kitchen team members
- Ensure food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained
- Monitor stock levels and help minimise waste
- Assist with receiving and checking deliveries
- Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and daily specials
- Work collaboratively to deliver smooth and efficient service
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or an experienced Demi Chef de Partie ready for the next step
- Strong cooking skills and passion for quality food
- Experience working with fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Calm and professional approach during busy service periods
- High standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
Working Hours
- Ideally working Wednesday and Thursday, plus two days between Friday and Sunday
- Weekend shifts rotated fairly across the team
- Approximately 40-44 hours per week
Pay & Progression
Hourly rates are negotiable and will be determined based on experience, skills and suitability for the role.
Following successful completion of a two-month probationary period, all team members receive a formal pay review, with the opportunity for a pay increase based on performance, development and contribution to the team.
