About the Role
We’re recruiting a Brunch Chef to join one of the area’s most popular fresh-food cafés in Ystradgynlais.
Whether you’re an experienced Chef looking for a better work-life balance or already an established Breakfast Chef, This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, supportive kitchen that genuinely values its people. The hours operate between 8:30am-3pm but can accommodate a full time contract up to 40 hours per week for those that want it.
Serving fresh, quality food in a busy daytime environment think Shakshuka, Turkish Eggs, Full English with SourDough Bread, Steak and Eggs, This isn’t your average breakfast! The kitchen regularly caters for up to 100 covers on peak days. Everything is cooked fresh using quality ingredients—there isn’t even a fryer in the kitchen !
As demand continues to grow, the business is expanding its food offering by introducing a new grab-and-go range of freshly prepared meals and light bites. Customers will be able to enjoy food throughout the venue’s beautiful patio and garden area, helping to improve the overall guest experience while easing pressure on the main kitchen during the busiest periods. This exciting development creates fantastic opportunities for chefs to contribute ideas and be part of the venue’s continued growth.

What We’re Looking For
- At least two years’ experience as a Chef in a similar environment
- Passion for cooking fresh food from quality ingredients
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Strong team player with a hands-on approach
- Organised and able to perform well during busy service periods
- Pride in delivering consistent dishes
