The Role

As we continue to grow and look to expand our service offering, we’re looking for commercially focussed and performance-driven Sales Managers to join our team in Harlow, Essex.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and playing a key role in driving business growth. You’ll work with a broad portfolio of customers while helping to deliver innovative passive fire solutions across a range of sectors.

Working closely with estimating, operations, and senior leadership teams, you will play a key role in expanding our presence across social housing, education, and public sector markets.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the passive fire sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with housing associations, local authorities, main contractors, consultants, and asset managers.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts.
  • Generate and convert a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Work collaboratively with estimating and operational teams to ensure commercially viable project delivery.
  • Achieve agreed sales, gross profit, and growth targets.
  • Monitor market trends, framework opportunities, and competitor activity.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and sales activity records within the CRM system.
  • Represent the business at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.


What We’re Looking For


Essential:

  • Proven sales experience within the passive fire industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fire stopping, fire doors, compartmentation, and compliance-led services.
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving sales and gross profit targets.
  • Experience developing relationships with contractors, housing providers, local authorities, or public sector clients.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Experience securing framework agreements and long-term service contracts.
  • Knowledge of relevant fire safety legislation and industry standards.
  • Understanding of social housing and public sector procurement routes.
