Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fire Door Joiner to join our team in Manchester. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring the safety and compliance of our building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery, particularly with fire doors, and will play a key role in maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety within the construction industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

Installing and upgrading fire doors and frames to required standards
Carrying out fire door inspections, repairs, and maintenance
Ensuring all work complies with BM TRADA / FIRAS / relevant certification schemes
Accurately complete job reports and documentation
Working across multiple sites, maintaining high standards of workmanship
Liaising with site managers and clients professionally

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience as a joiner/carpenter with fire door experience
Strong knowledge of fire door regulations and compliance standards
Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds in Carpentry/Joinery (preferred)
FIRAS, BM TRADA, or equivalent accreditation (desirable)
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
