Term- Full-time (Monday-Thursday 1pm-9pm; Saturday or Sunday 9am-5pm)

About the role:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Registry Officer to join our team. This role focuses on providing high-quality support to students throughout their educational journey, with a particular emphasis on student finance, enrolment and ongoing eligibility checks
Responsibilities:
● To be available to discuss issues with students on request, and support within remit.
● To provide follow-up calls for students requiring support.
● Deal with all internal and external queries concerning the progress and status of students.
● Provide advice and guidance to applicants.
● Be aware of student benefits available to current students, including eligibility criteria, application requirements, and methods.
● Support with correspondence to be sent to Funding partners, Student Finance England and decisions made.
● Collate and file finance decisions and follow up on those that are pending.
● Liaise and take action where student finance has not been awarded.
● Disseminate and co-ordinate the application of additional funds, grants, or made available by funding colleges.
● Track and follow up on all applications made.
● Maintain clear communication with the Operations Lead regarding student finance and actions taken.
● Keep up to date with changes in eligibility and requirements for Student Finance and UCAS.
● Ensure all activities and contact are recorded on the student database.
● Provide general administrative support within the office as required.
● Maintain good working relationships with other teams and departments, enabling mutual understanding and collaboration.
● Conduct UKVI compliance checks, including verification of students’ immigration status and right to study.
● Support student enrolment and induction processes.
Criteria
Essential
● Degree or experience in a related field.
● Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage workload effectively.
● Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
● Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, especially during peak periods.
