We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our team in Slough.
Role Overview:
To manage and oversee the delivery of planned maintenance and refurbishment works across occupied social housing properties, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while providing excellent customer service to residents.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations for planned works programmes.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with specifications, programmes, and budgets.
- Monitor progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
- Undertake site inductions and toolbox talks.
- Maintain site documentation, RAMS, permits, and records.
- Promote a positive safety culture and address unsafe practices immediately.
- Ensure works comply with Building Regulations and relevant statutory requirements.
- Work closely with Resident Liaison Officers to minimise disruption to tenants.
- Resolve resident concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.
- Maintain effective communication with residents regarding work schedules and access requirements.
- Carry out inspections to ensure workmanship meets agreed standards.
- Manage defects and ensure timely completion of snagging items.
- Ensure all works comply with client specifications and contractual obligations
You Will Need:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering planned maintenance or refurbishment projects.
- Strong FRA background.
- Experience working within occupied social housing environments.
- Knowledge of kitchen and bathroom replacements, roofing, windows and doors, external works, and energy efficiency programmes.
- Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour teams.
- Understanding of resident engagement and customer care principles.
Qualifications:
- A valid SMSTS qualification
- CSCS card in site management
- A recognised building/trade qualification
- Asbestos Awareness Certification
- Must hold current valid driving license
- Recognised qualifications and or work experience regarding Fire Assessment surveying and remedial works
