The Role:

We are seeking a strategic and relationship-focused Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities with an emphasis on managing and enhancing relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This role will play a critical part in aligning procurement objectives with business needs, ensuring supplier performance, and fostering collaborative partnerships to drive value, innovation, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between procurement and key internal stakeholders within the region.
  • Understand internal stakeholders’ needs and factor them into group procurement strategies.
  • Support cross-functional teams in project planning, sourcing, value engineering and supplier selection.
  • Regularly gather feedback on supply chain, identify areas for improvement, and ensure satisfaction with procurement support.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews, negotiations, and business development discussions.
  • Ensure suppliers align with company standards for quality, cost, delivery, compliance, and sustainability.
  • Drive collaboration and innovation with strategic suppliers to enhance product or service offerings.
  • Develop and execute category strategies that align with organisational goals and stakeholder requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and onboarding.
  • Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Ensure procurement practices comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and report on procurement KPIs, supplier performance metrics, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance procurement efficiency and stakeholder experience.
  • Support change management initiatives related to procurement systems, tools, or policy updates.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of procurement experience, ideally in a stakeholder-intensive environment.
  • Strong background in supplier management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
